ASEB ~ Ancient Egyptian Game from the Tomb of the King. Hand Made Wooden Travel Game
This is considered by many to likely be one of the very first board games in human history, dating back to as far as 3100 BC. An Aseb board found in the tomb of King Tutankhamen by Howard Carter in 1922, so it was clearly a favorite pastime for the young King.
This amazing recreation of that historic game carries all of the aesthetics of the original boards from thousands of years ago. The board measures 8" inches long and comes as shown, with game board, four Egyptian Dice (also known as casting sticks), 10 pawns and instructions for play. This version is smaller than the others I offer, which makes it perfect for those who lack a lot of space in their apartment/house or who are on a budget but don't want to miss out on a wonderful treasure, fit for a King!
Built for travel, this wonderful edition of Aseb opens to hold all of the playing components! Allowing you to tuck into any carry bag, purse or backpack. Perfect for the history buff on the go!
Each one of these is hand assembled to ensure quality.
This is the game you have been waiting for, giving you the incredible Egyptian aesthetic as well as historic and strategic game play.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Please Note: Pawns are cut from acrylic and will come with some protective paper still attached. This is to ensure that they don't get scratched during shipping. Simply peal the protective paper off to reveal the beautiful faience and white colors of the pawns.
