This is the ancient Sumerian Royal Game of Ur, also known as 20 Squares.

This is one of the oldest known board games in the world, dating back many thousands of years.

This amazing recreation of that historic game carries all of the aesthetics of the original boards, right down to the style of the markings. The board measures 13" inches long, 2.5" inches tall and 5" wide. It comes as shown, with game board, four Dice and 14 pawns. The rules are included as well.

An 8 page rule book and explanation is included.

This board is made of cherry wood and birch and is hand finished with a beautiful satin finish.
